Balik Pulau
Balik Pulau is a small town in the hilly south-western part of the island. With fruit orchards in the surrounding foothills, the area is famous for its durians (king of fruits) and other locall fruits. A popular place for visitors during the fruit season, this is the best place to savour the freshest of local fruits. There are also cloves and nutmeg farms nearby.
